Some fresh excitement is brewing as the winners for this year’s Pinotage Rosé competition have been announced. Since the introduction of the competition in 2017, the interest in this category has skyrocketed, having grown immensely popular among casual wine drinkers and aficionados alike. This increased demand has resulted in more producers adding Pinotage Rosé to their wine portfolios.   This year’s winning Pinotage Rosé wines are quality-driven and refreshing, while showing great nuance and poise, reiterating the versatility of Pinotage wine styles.   Vice-chair of the Pinotage Association De Wet Viljoen says, “It is an understatement to say that we surprised to see the enthusiasm of many producers showing a keen interest in this competition. The notion that bottles with stickers sell, definitely puts our phenomenal producers on the top of the list when it comes to buying Pinotage Rosé”.   “On behalf of Absa, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to this year’s winners.
