To increase the knowledge of its members on all aspects regarding the viticulture and vinification of Pinotage grapes and the production of Pinotage wines

To serve as a forum for exchanging ideas on the production and marketing of Pinotage wines

To identify problem areas in the growing of Pinotage grapes and the production of Pinotage wines

4. Research

To prioritise research needs regarding Pinotage

Management Committee

The Management Committee is made up of the top echelon in the wine industry, locally and globally. It is a selection of co-opted members, elected at the annual general meeting of the Pinotage Association. The executive committee is elected by the Management Committee.
